Club Activities

Cruise-ins
CFSRA members attend many of the local cruise-ins both individually and as a group. Most often we go to monthly cruise-ins held in Davenport, Lake Wales, Lakeland, Plant City and Winter Haven. Recently club members have been cruising on selected Friday nights as a group to a local drive-in on for a burger and bull session.
Christmas Party
The club holds a Christmas party each year to reward those members who have been active in club events throughout the year.

NSRA
We have a club tent at the NSRA Southeast Nationals in Tampa every year. It serves as a source of shade and a common parking area for member cars. We also hold our annual club meeting there and elect new officiers for the coming year. Club members conduct kids games at the show for NSRA. Every year some CFSRA members attend the NSRA South Nationals in Knoxville, TN and the NSRA Nationals in Louisville where they also conduct kids games.
Miscellaneous
In the past, the club has been asked to participate in some unique events such as chaeuffering a bride and groom to a wedding, driving a couple to an anniversary party, parking our cars as backdrop for a 50’s party and displaying our cars at a local nursing home to cheer up the residents. Club members are always up for a good time.

30th Annual Tampa Knights Hot Dog Bash. Sunday, May 19, 2013. 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Phillippe Park, Safety Harbor, FL. No show-Car show. No registration fees, no trophies and no hassles! Free food and door prizes. Open to all cars. Contact Bryan at 813-625-4461 for more information.

Club Car Cruise to Solomon's Castle: The club will be cruising to Solomon's Caslte in Ona, Florida on Saturday, June 8th. We will be meeting in two location. The main group will leave from Advanced Auto Parts on Hwy 92 in Auburndale at 9:00 AM. The group will then cruise to WalMart on Hwy 60 in Bartow at about 9:30 AM to meet anyone from Winter Haven or South. If you plan to meet at the Bartow location, please call Charlie at 863-412-4601 so we know to stop for you. Cost to enter the castle is $10.00 per person. You can eat lunch on the boat in the moat for $8.00 to $10.00. They do not accept credit cards so remember to bring some cash!!!
